hello hello! ive been posting around the forum quite a bit already but thought it might be nice to post a little introduction now that ive settled in!
my name is max, or tetris, hailing from florida! im an aspiring butcher and work as a fish monger / freelance artist. im really interested in going to a trades school when feasible for me, but at the moment im trying to work out immigrating to canada to be with my partner. ive been a furry for almost 8 years now, and spent many of my early years in the fandom watching animatics, maps, and cartoons with furry characters in them, which sparked a love and respect for animation and the craft. ive been drawing since i could pick up a pencil, it runs in the family!
im really passionate about all forms of art and have the firm belief that the act of "creation" is something hard wired into everyone in one way or another. i think there is a lot of joy in making something and the act of bringing something into the world, whether it be a drawing, song, piece of literature, performance, or something else, is a critical piece of human nature. drawing is maybe my favorite thing in the world and consumes a lot of my time. sometimes i feel like its what i was born to do, art is like an old friend!
i also like writing sometimes, but i dont do it often. i tend to have a pretty short attention span and ive got the memory of a goldfish, so i dont watch a lot of TV or movies either. (i love cartoons though!)
batman is kind of my thing, and robin is like my all time favorite "character." if youre into batman, i dont have a favorite robin in particular, i just like the concept hahaha. one day i plan on making a robin cosplay for my fursuit. im also in the process of a fledgling mew collection, theyre my favorite pokemon!
