Basically what the title says. Looking for more furry friends into horror, mostly in reference to movies [the schlockier, niche-r, or more "disturbing" the better], but honestly any horror counts. Feel free to drop a couple [or a bunch] of your fave movies! Some of my favorites include: Braindead, Slime City, The Abomination, Terror Firmer [literally anything Troma or Lloyd Kauffman is on the table though], Alien + Aliens, Romero's "Of The Dead" Trilogy, Near Dark, The House That Jack Built, Angst, Nekromantik, August Underground, The Golden Glove, and sooo many more. [Aside from horror, I'm a big Tarantino fan too, but that's a little off-topic.] And if you're another loser like me, feel free to drop your Letterboxd. I have a bunch of curated lists on there, and would love to take a gander at others!

Nowadays my favourites are Razorback, Near Dark, Body Melt, Dawn/Day of the Dead, Psycho and its batshit sequels, Pumpkinhead, Basket Case, Return of the Living Dead, Street Trash...god, just so many I'm probably missing!

HAIIII omg I love horror.. I'll admit I get a bit squeamish though so my list of faves is pretty tame... I'm a huge fan of IT (all adaptations), I've read a few Stephen King novels, and one of my favorite more-"niche" films is YellowBrickRoad (2010) !! :3
I have a Pennywise fursuit head I acquired recently that I'm currently trying to fix up and one that I'm building of my anthro Eddie Kaspbrak design.

And literally No pressure but I'd love to hear more of your guys thoughts... I always love talking movies with you both ^__^

YESSSSS.... The Shining is honestly a pretty solid first horror watch. I don't know if I can even remember mine, I was just sort of loaned a handful of DVD's from my parents collection all at once when I was around 7 or 8, I think Jaws, IT [1990], the When A Stranger Calls remake, and Boogeyman [2005]. Strange picks for sure... But I guess look where I am now LOL. And you already KNOW how I feel about your taste but it rocks so fucking hard irregardless. We still gotta finish our Bad Taste watch, I'm so sad we had to cut it short that one time...

HII !! I totally get ya, some of the murkier corners of the genre definitely ain't for everybody. But that's super cool still!! I love the IT miniseries and the remake pretty equally. I've never heard of YellowBrickRoad though... will be adding it to my watchlist for sure. I'd love to see your fursuit head if you'd ever be interested in linking pics :]c

I am starting to get into horror so don't mind me using this thread as a recommendation list >:3 what I have watched and enjoyed so far is mostly emotional/psychological horror, like Parasite and I Saw the TV Glow. As for not-quite-movies, web-series like Petscop and games like Mouthwashing and Fear & Hunger have also been great.

HORRORRR!!!! i've always been mildly interested in horror movies, but i've recently rllyyyy started watching a lot of movies (which also means i still have loads 2 watch, recommendations r VERY welcome!!) so i have a very surface level knowledge i think? my faves r saw (!!!i have sawtism...), zodiac, and se7en, there's also loadsss more than i rlly love i'm just going off what's actually on my letterboxd faves list LOL. im generally someone who rates movies rlly highly (2 the annoyance of some other film lovers) so it's rare there's smth i genuinely dislike :3 i'm actually doing a horror movie marathon rn, i'm like maybe halfway thru? it's quite long so i don't wanna put the list here 4 the fear of my post being crazy long ToT but i'm currently halfway thru rewatching all the purge films

HII!! Horror is literally my LIFE! My room is plastered in horror memorabilia from Elvira to the Evil Dead, to Saw and Hereditary. Indie horror such as Mystery Flesh Pit and the works of Plastiboo (Vermis I,II and GODHUSK). Even manga by Q Hayashida (Dorohedoro and Dai Dark) are some of my biggest artistic inspirations, as well as Junji Ito of course. so awesome to see other furries also love horror as much as me.

I definitely get ya on rating things too highly sometimes, I feel like I'm picky but realistically I'm probably too easy to please. I love stupid shlocky stuff, so you kinda get numbed to what even makes a bad movie anymore half the time LOL. That and I guess alot of things people focus on kinda get glossed over by me in lew of good special effects, or behind the scenes technical aspects.

I'm also someone who loves to cover my room in horror memorabilia, its pretty crazy how much my space has morphed to fit my interests over the last 5 or 6 years.
