I prefer to open a gallery as a thread rather than gallery as it allows people to comment and I always like a good chitchat :3 As for my opening post, I think I'm gonna share a few of my favourite recent personal art, along with a sorta remake of that rave pic that ended up in AMVs xD Enjoy <3 The charas I have in these following pics are my own, unless specified! So if you see someone sparking your curiosity feel free to ask and I'll be happy to share some backstory!
Candy and Acid at a big rave! Also with them is my friend's mouse character Melanie!
More carefree dancing with a big group of boys n girls!
Acid again, sparring or play fighting with Valery, she's a grump xP
Jamaila the skunk, I love drawing cozy and calm pics with her!
I love how the perspective came out in this :3

Thank you! Big full backgrounds are definitely my favourite part of a drawing <3 Definitely! Tend to be one of the things I have the most fun doing, too... (I do not draw backgrounds enough haha)

Today I'm posting some traditional media art because sometimes I like to get angry at my scanner for ruining colours on actual paper :3c Here's my cheetah Jay, local nervous emo boi and graffiti artist; Jamaila again with her favourite element, water; Candy making, well, candy! Or a cake to be exact xD An old piece of my cyborg character Joypad which I like to portray along with old computer graphics and atmospheres; Lastly for today my Valy, in a drawing inspired by Patrick Nagel's paintings!

I don't know if this is a weird thing to point out, but love that you're up keeping the "old furry" art style!!
Specially with traditional media because if it depended on me, I'd break all my coloring pencils before getting anywhere close to the incredible color work of the Joypad portrait

I don't know if this is a weird thing to point out, but love that you're up keeping the "old furry" art style!! Specially with traditional media because if it depended on me, I'd break all my coloring pencils before getting anywhere close to the incredible color work of the Joypad portrait To be honest, I had to switch from pastels to either Copics or watercolours because the way I was using to colour with the former was putting too much strain on my wrist. The most recent one I did is the graffiti piece above and I was all "ouchie" afterwards. ;3; Have some more old pieces! This still holds up very well colouring wise despite being relatively old. My charas Gregory and Emptyhead being all Halloweeny At some point in time it shows that I was mixing the media with digital touchups, like the hardlights and background in this pic This is another personal favourite of mine, with Candy :3 As for the "old furry style" comment, it's certainly the first time I recieve it but I take it as very positive, I've always looked up to the earlier fandom aesthetics and my whole art shtick revolves around nostalgia so it fits well. XD

Today I bring you... a bunch of digital drawings with some retro aesthetics! Contempo-eclectic! Mainly a style for post-Memphis design furniture but its shapes and colours can easily fit in visual art. Global Village Coffeehouse! Probably my favourite of the 90s aesthetics, I like the natural textures, earthy tones and tribal symbolisms. Y2k! Need to do more with this vibe, and need to do more with my cyborgs, Joypad and Program! Utopian Scholastic, another big favourite because I lived on Encarta and other educational computer programs as a kid. My tiger Carabine felt perfect for this aesthetic as she's both a sporty gal and a study-loving bookworm x3
