kronogarrett THE MECH ? POOLTOYS ARE SOOOOO COOL !!! Such a neat design, I've yet to see custom inflatables irl since I missed the panel last con I went to but 2025 I will remember fingers crossed. The art is also awesome love the highlights on the 3rd piece , thanks for sharing !!!

woof Thanks! I'll be doing Get Out The Float, Motor City Furry Con, and AnthrOhio for sure next year, the hotels are still up in the air for Furnal Equinox and Anthrocon. GOTF - feathered serpent, seahorse, gorgonops, werewolf, and possibly a surprise... FE - three-headed dragon, dinosaur, moth, werewolf MCFC - Mech wolf, mech fox, standing turtle, something else Anthrohio - Nargacuga, moth, anthro salmon, something else Anthrocon - Mech whale (unmade), anthro salmon (unmade), seahorse, plesiosaur (unmade) I'll probably lend my werewolf to Phenod after Anthrocon so he can go to various conventions outside of my travel range. (I normally don't want to drive more than several hours from Cleveland.)

Honestly, I don’t get the permagrin thing at all, the closest I get is designs with bared teeth or see-through open mouths.

Honestly, I don’t get the permagrin thing at all, the closest I get is designs with bared teeth or see-through open mouths. It is really interesting how the permagrin has become such a staple in pooltoy art despite not existing on many actual pooltoys. I'd love to see someone design/order an real pooltoy with that face, I think it'd look goofy in a charming way lol |

oh wow, what a fun thread! i got into drawing pool toys recently and havent been able to get enough lol, beachy/pool-y aesthetics have always been a favorite so it just fit. let me find a few of my favorites!   i really enjoy mixing a combo of pooltoy and regular anthro features together, but i think future pieces id definitely love to try something more confined to the pooltoy look - something you might realistically be able to purchase from someone somewhere. theyre just so cute! there are some really neat furry pooltoys out there. next time im at a convention ill have to stop by a pooltoy panel. |
