Here's a recent pooltoy! Been working on this liminal space type series for a while, this one is based on the song Sleep Eater by Slothrust
the colors here are fantastic, this would make a great print. i really love the effect on the water and the general lighting throughout the piece :3 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've thought about painting these traditionally onto canvas before, I dont have much experience in that regard but it'd be a fun experiment! Or making prints at the very least!
I'll throw in a few others for good measure |

I'll throw in a few others for good measure oh wow, that last one is definitely my favorite! peaceful and haunting at the same time, venturing off into the darkness... again the lighting is fantastic, when you have such a bright color like the cyan water in the foreground its easy to draw your attention away from the focus, but the way youve colored the fur in the water is so striking you cant help but look at it first! great flow! good luck if you do ever decide to turn these into prints, im sure there would be interest  cant hurt to try painting them too, right?! |

Honestly, I don’t get the permagrin thing at all, the closest I get is designs with bared teeth or see-through open mouths. It is really interesting how the permagrin has become such a staple in pooltoy art despite not existing on many actual pooltoys. I'd love to see someone design/order an real pooltoy with that face, I think it'd look goofy in a charming way lol And don’t get me started on how everyone screws up handles. That big flat base is there for a reason… meowmax 4m tall and about 5-odd meters long. Big tutel. |
