I always like a good themed RP.
I remember one was a fantasy tavern, where a mod played the bartender, and there'd be people playing regulars from the town, adventurers, etc. If people left on an adventure they'd actually leave the thread for a week or so, RP their adventure amongst themselves, then they'd tell the rest of the tavern about the quest once they 'returned'.

Seeing people come up with their own medieval fantasy versions of their modern day fursona was fun too.
The big problem we had were time zones. |
