bins

so this might be something we're not interested in at this point, but one thing i remember enjoying were peoples personal bin threads.

the forum i used to frequent a lot was rp focused so they were traditionally called "character bins", and it's where people would collect links to their various character profiles and rp threads. however they were also used as a landing page for the user to give a little info about themself and link to things important to them, whether on site or off site.

for instance, it could be used to collect links to a users relevant threads (art thread, stories theyve shared, gallery, commission/trade thread, etc), but honestly people would use them for a bunch of different stuff, its just a place to have a personal "page".

typically people would then put a link to this bin in their signature for other users--made it easier to get aquainted with people. there were also a lot of user shared codes that people would write so that they could make them a little fancier

this might be something that could be a sub board in introductions? maybe it should be called something else? idk! just thought id submit my community petition
