For consideration, a feature that could be implemented is the option to select that posting in a thread will not bump said thread to the very top of the board, similar to the "sage" option that exists on imageboards?
Again, something for consideration, to be thrown out there, not a demand or even particularly desirable suggestion.

I believe users can do this! When making a thread you hit the gear icon and hit "enable falling"
Do let me know if you see it or not im unsure if only admins can do so
