ough i meant to make a post like last week but i completely forgot about it until now "orz

but anyways hello i'm bug, 20!! super excited to mayhaps socialize and make some friends (so feel free to message me to chat :3 !! i'm usually pretty anxious but i try my best lol) and to scream into the forum void even though i'm typically a lurker

i'm really only semi-active on toyhou.se

but more about me!!:
- i am a college student studying environmental science!
- ehrm i like rocks and bugs and fish (animals in general i think) and nature and art

- i've been doing furry art and stuff since middle school i think
- media i like: hannibal nbc, killing eve, good omens, the magnus archives, pokemon, just started arcane and i'm obsessed and there's definitely more but my brain isn't working
- music: anywhere from metal to rock to indie and sometimes pop (sarah kinsley, mitski, nothing more, silversun pickups, laufey, in this moment, a perfect circle, the last dinner party, tool, deftones, hozier, radiohead, wasia project, the army the navy and so so SO much more omg)
- games: a lot of minecraft, cult of the lamb, and webfishing currently hehe :3c
- I FORGOT TO ADD THAT I COLLECT SMISKIS THATS SUCH A BIG PART OF ME HOW DID I FORGET

i grew up drawing on my phone and with my finger but VERY recently started using csp and a tablet!! kinda a major learning curve but i'm having so much fun

and i tend to type a lottt if it wasn't obvious already >u<;)7

also environmental science is such a cool thing to major in, is it difficult at all? i've heard tell ochem/similar subjects are brutal but not sure if that's an envsci requirement at every school so i'm curious :D

also also... whats ur favorite bug??

helloo !! yes me too i think forums generally help >u<

for environmental science it's def different depending on the school!! the school i go to doesn't require ochem which im so happy about omg.. a lot of the requirements + classes here are also very geology based (and a lot of my electives that i've chosen are very geology based so that's also on me

) but i'm really enjoying the major!! and overall it isn't too difficult; all my professors are very passionate in what they teach and it has generally related to their own research which is so awesome! i think some of the more difficult classes, at least from what i've heard, i won't be taking for another semester maybe "orz

and favorite bug omg.. !!! it's so hard to choose just one but i am a MAJOR fan of beetles overall, recently been very obssesed with wooly chafer beetles :3c and beetles are generally one of my favorite bugs to draw too!

i've been itching to make a bugsona too and literally the only reason why i haven't yet is because i can't choose a species ahhh

do you have a favorite bug!!?

Oh that's awesome, sounds really fun! The few geology related courses i did were probably some of my favorite out of the gen ed stuff i ended up picking, such a cool subject... having an enthusiastic professor definitely makes you invested in the topic more yourself. bonus points if theyre funny too ^^ but gl on the harder classes, hopefully they aren't as bad as people make them out to be!

oooo beetles are a good choice, those ones in particular are super cute!! not enough fluffy bugs around if you ask me... or maybe there's lots and im just not in the know :p but yea choosing a species is like half the battle when ur making a character, and there's so many options for bugs. Maybe you could take different aspects you like from like a top 5 and mash em together into the coolest bug ever? i dunno lol

i think for my favorite bug... hmm... millipede probably? i haven't thought it through much (not very knowledgeable on bugs weehee) so no species in particular but they've got cute little faces and the way they skedaddle around is silly :)
