I am definitely a child of 90's/2000's furry media so naturally I have the attachments to the classic wolves/dragons/cats etc
I don't think I necessarily share any traits with the species I choose for my characters, but I do have a tendency to prefer Physically Large or Imposing critters since I would like to be perceived that way!

I've been told by more than one non-fur (because I use my 'sona as a business mascot too) that I look like my 'sona...so I must be rather coyote-built.
Plus like Talis said, the fact that they're kind of intermediate-social fits too; I like a very specific small family or friend group around, and occasionally can hang with bigger groups but also quite happy as a loner. And I'm liable to always be around the outskirts, observing things going-on...and screaming if it's required.

i have super curly hair like a poodle! its shoulder-length right now so when i have it down it feels like poodle ears. i'm also too energetic for my own good
