Do you share personal traits with your species?

One of the reasons why I picked a Panda as my fursona is because of their omnivore nature they refuse to accept, sticking to just eating bamboos and no meat. I mean, I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but I despise most kinds of meat. I'm also quite clumsy, just like them.

Funny enough, even before I was openly therian, I would have a bunch of friends and even co-workers tell me that I would cock my head to the side like a dog whenever we'd be discussing something - usually if I was confused or misheard whatever they were saying. I think it might be holdover behavior from when I was REALLY young but either way, I thought it was so funny that people have been telling me that I remind them of a dog for years before I found myself as more of a canine.

I'd say I'm pretty mole-like. Solitary by nature, wanting to basically stay in my little home. Anyone who has seen my Magic thread knows I'm into the whole 'extra-sensory' thing, so moles moving without sight ties in to that. I also prefer the early mornings and late evenings.

Also I hide a lot of my more complex emotions and thoughts a lot of the time, like how a mole might have a hill that doesn't show the complexity of the burrows underneath.

I think all the best fursonas, and the ones people stick with, have some element of truth to them, that if we were to all wake up in a place with our fursonas as our real bodies, we'd basically carry on as normal.

I forgot to mention that I've wanted to live underground ever since I watched Fellowship of the Ring way back in ... Oh god! 2001!? But yeah, the Hobbit holes are my kinda home.

Also, moles kinda suit my natural body shape of being short and stocky. Full Dwarf-mode.

i think a hybrid cat-dog works just fine for me! a lot of my traits align with either, and sometimes they clash like a dog and cat might too haha. usually i draw my fursona more catlike, because i think personality and behavior wise i align more with a feline than a canine. inquisitive, private, soft footed, and i tend to enjoy my space. at the same time i enjoy being around people and id say im quite outgoing. i also have a lot of energy, and thrive off of busy days where im active all day.

i wouldnt call myself a therian per say, but i get that phantom tail, phantom paws, phantom ears thing sometimes and it usually shifts back and forth from cat and dog when im fursuiting especially i definitely feel more feline... but im also wagging my tail and eager to say hello to everyone.

Well Eastern Yotes are from the midwestern united states, and listen to them howl! They're trying their best, and I relate to that.

But seriously, the fact that they're between the solitary nature of foxes, but not extremely social like wolves, while still being very sociable, is something I relate to.
