Ok ok I love horror movies anyone who has talked to me for like 2 seconds knows I LOVE horror so I have 3 characters based off classic slashers my favorite boy who I just need to show off is my bubba sawyer character (leatherface) art by bitterbarks  BUT I SAY ALL THIS TO SAY!!! I want to see your media inspired characters MOVEIS VIDEO GAMES BOOKS ALL OF IT!! are they based on a character if so do they have any differences from the canon or are they a oc that exists in the universe if so are they a self insert? What relationship do they have to this story how would you fit them in AND ANYTHUNG ELSE tell me about them please !!! |

I would let bubba chase me with a chainsaw <:3 Not sure if it counts, but my character foxteeth’s design was partially inspired by Okami! I loooove the tail swirl design on Amaterasu, and so I incorporated my version of it onto foxteeth. So I guess just an aesthetic choice, but I love how it looks haha  |

Oh boy, my girlfriend got me into this one. I have quite a few furries based off characters from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure I'll just share a few of my favorites, but I've got plenty more.  Jonathan is based on the first Jojo. I went with a Saint Bernard for him due to Jojo in canon being a "gentle giant". I incorporated some of Jonathan's pet dog Danny's markings into his design as a homage.  Kira is a pink panther, a play on Pink Panther. But also because his stand (physical manifestation of his soul), Killer Queen, is pink and cat like. He was the first jojo fursona I made.  And then I have Wamuu/Wham. I made him a bird, specifically Harris's Hawk, due to the fact that in the anime he's essentially an elemental deity with wind powers. And that's all! I have some furries not from Jojo too :3< but, yknow. All art by mee |

oh that bubba is GORGOUSSSS i have a few media characters,,, first is my proxie dog (ive wanted this character for FOREEVVERRRRR when i was younger, im still so happy to have him and i would kill to get a new ref for him) - and i still LOVE slenderman to this day (he has a cool design!!) i dont really make lore on my characters oops but i still love them!!! not sure if warrior cats count so i wont post those for now >_>

i remember this being such a weirdly taboo/cringe thing to do, but so many folks do it now and i LOVEEEEEE to see it. i also love to see people just taking canon characters and going 'ur a dog now' anyhow,,,,, I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A LONG TIME lol some have just been 'ur a dog now' and some started like that and i kept tweaking them as time went on and made them more my own
watchmen laurie as a spotted hyena/cougar hybrid ( eddie is the yeen, sally is the cougar lol) - friend and i had a long-running roleplay thing with a bunch of marvel/dc/comics characters all tossed together. laurie's whole thing was 'what if eddie stuck around and him and sally got married'. she had a thing with bucky as a teen and ran with the 'juvies' iron man pepper as a virginia opossum (lol). her and tony met as teens briefly and were a thing before his parents passed and they meet again later in life

OOOO RAISES HANDS
This is my boy, Pete Ross / Spider-Pup!! He's inspired off of and follows the base character of Spider-Boy from the DC/Marvel crossover comics from the 1990s. Amalgam wasn't realllyyy focused on the individual characters, but the concepts are fascinating to say the least. Canonically, he's a clone of Peter Parker & Super Soldier. He's a nexus between universes, which doesn't amount to a whole lot except that he's basically a natural portal between dimensions. He's also technically part of Spider-Verse, at least the comic runs! Where the big bad steals his arm.
As for my furry take on him, Peter Parker was actually a werewolf and supremely interested to see how lycanthropy would affect a clone, so he didn't tell any of the other scientists his condition when he offered up his DNA for the project. So now we got a werewolf, clone kid!! I took inspo from Danny Phantom's Wulf in that his claws can open portals to other dimensions, but with the caveat here that doing so results in either the possible destruction of the universe, or the death of himself. Which another character then foils. Hurrah!

i do a little bit of furry au-ing you may say ...well, i think that might be different. or is it not different?? there's probably a distinction to be made, somewhere. these two feel like they stand on their own more than my other ace attorney furry au designs lol this is a yak version of datz are'bal from spirit of justice ...i haven't actually drawn yaktz in a while.. but his dumb dopey flappy yak ears are so cute..... i should draw him again... yaktz.. my beloved....
and this is lion version of damon gant from pwaa .. at least he's distinct by having a long flowy lion mane.. :')
also this is Cheating kind of bc i havent drawn speedwoof in four years (devastating) but seeing RyuokoWolf 's jjba furries reminded me of speedwoof! who is just speedwagon as a Regular Normal wolf LMFAO |

My character Rosy Sky is pretty blatantly based on Care Bears, though I like to try mixing the Care Bear concept in with magical girl stuff, and don't like how the Stares are just kind of a "fix the current problem" button in the Care Bears media I've seen, so Rosy's Stare is more specific. She still helps people with their feelings though. I like getting art that makes her inspiration more obvious sometimes. I have a bunicorn (Dragon Quest) and several ponies (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) but those are mostly just me playing with a cute species rather than playing off of a specific concept from media. |
