I wish I was the world's richest, most successful watermelon farmer. Granted! Despite your best efforts, your entire watermelon crop fails, but for one watermelon that grew in the shape of Larry Kings head. A bidding war breaks out for this freak of nature and you eventually are named the most successful watermelon farmer in the world, due to the payout. That said, your attempts at reproducing other famous figures never pans out and you spend all your money in vain searching for the same high as the world does it's best to forget you.
I wish to be mentored by Kamina from TTGL (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) on how to be more awesome.

I wish for a giant magic parabolic acoustic mirror, which I could use to make funny noises in the middle of serious press conferences from thousands of miles away, add inappropriate comments at board meetings, or send whale songs into the middle of libraries with mean librarians.

Granted. Of course, now you'll find it extremely uncomfortable to wear clothes that restrain your sensible tail for the rest of your life, but perhaps the disgust and judgment from other people on your tail, fur-less and still human-skinned, makes you feel even more uncomfortable.
