oh man, animal jam was my childhood. i dont know exactly when i made my account, but it was some time in 2012... i still have it, and my first member animal! "emperor grossgiraffe" the fox <3 at some point i think they removed "gross" from the name list but id name like half my animals the same thing so its been preserved on my account  the art is so impressive, you replicated the aj style perfectly! literally thought these were official pieces at first glance lol. i remember watching the art tutorial videos in the masterpiece maker back when they were releasing those and trying so hard to recreate them when aj play wild came out, and they renamed the oj to "animal jam classic" i was so miffed. its kind of sad logging online and seeing the forest dead empty where all the wolf roleplayers used to hang out. or the "rare people trading area" shifting from the canyon to bradys. its great people are still playing though - if anything in the past few months it seems like it has picked up quite a bit traction wise. i know its difficult to truly update the game because losing flash messed up their system, but i hope they can get back to updating it one day! honestly its a (good) surprise the game is still running after all these years. very glad they didnt pull a club penguin |

meowmax thank you!! i need to draw more animal jam style art... also i think i started playing in 2012/2013, but i've had so many different accounts since then so i don't even remember my original account xD emporer grossgiraffe is such a funny name and yeah, the state of AJ classic is a bit sad. there's not much to do anymore besides trade, and then once you have all the rare items you want it becomes kind of pointless... me and my friends like to play while we vc sometimes though, and just mess around. i don't really play Play Wild very much, i don't like how cash-grabby it is lol. some of the PW animals are cute though and i wish they'd add new AJ animals. im pretty sure there have been talks from wildworks(?) or whatever company owns AJ now, about remaking AJ classic. it's been very vague though so, i don't know if they meant making a whole new game or just making a version that's easier to update. either way though it seems like theyre not totally abandoning classic, they have been adding some new stuff (even if it's just old stuff that never got released, LOL). like i think theyve added a couple new dens this year.

I haven't touched play wild but sometimes I come back to classic, played for a few months recently but havent checked back in for a bit
I basically lived on AJ growing up but the culture on there now is not as fun tbh .. but I like doing art comms wish they had that when I played
I lost my OG acc in the great compromise so I'm not as rich as I was
