Hi! I'm looking for other furs who also love tokusatsu and kaiju media as much as I do!!!
What are some of your favorite things about the genre? What are some of your favorite shows or seasons? We could talk about Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, Godzilla, Gamera, all of them!!!

Hi there! I'm a bit new to tokusatsu, but I started getting into it a few months ago because of a good friend of mine. We have watch parties every week so I've been getting introduced to lots of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. So far I really love Kamen Rider Wizard and Kamen Rider Black Sun (we just watched episode 6 on Saturday...  ) |

I love all Godzilla movies (except 1998) but especially enjoy the more serious and horror-oriented ones. I nearly cried at minus one because it was all I wanted from a Godzilla film, still can't decide if it's better than shin but they're both 5 stars! Wanted to get into Ultraman for a while but never had the time, which one should I watch first?

I'd still consider myself relatively new to tokosatsu but I'm a hugeeee Godzilla [and general kaiju fan]. Hedorah and Biollante are my ultimate favs.

I should get into this as a fan of power rangers growing up, but where's the best place to watch Kamen rider/ sentai stuff From what I understand, Toei is against localizing Kamen Rider for some reason. Your best bet is to probably find a ~legitimate~ website to get fansubs from. If you're interested I can ask some of my friends where they've been getting what we've been watching.
If you want to watch MMPR (not super sentai) there's a free to watch youtube channel with just about everything.

i need to get more tokubrained....one day.... of course i love kaiju movies..! i have a few friends who are obsessed with kamen rider, so i know a little bit by association. ive only ever watched fourze! ...half of fourze! ill finish it someday i swear DX but gentaro is my baby boy baby who i love. i wanna watch build, because i hear it has Heated Drama between men. i don't know what that means. LOL i love the "magical girl/monster of the week" feeling of these kinds of shows, lol. like there's something so nice about turning on a show and purposefully buying into the sfx (and in the case of fourze, the wonk cgi) that just feels so cheesy and Fun... also for the more monstery stuff, like godzilla, i just love the suit work! wow imagine that, a furry who enjoys costumes LOL like those behind the scenes videos of baragons suit actor?! SOOO CUUUUTE HAZARD biollante is my fave too!! cheers to having good taste!! |

I've also been watching Den-O and I just got to Kentaros....I love him.
