ooh neat thread idea!! i also am not a big movie watcher so maybe ill be convinced to watch something too :3c for me personally, though, i love animated movies... but i guess ill shill "one stormy night" (arashi no yoru ni) it's a japanese movie about a fat little goat and a scrawny raggedy wolf who meet during a thunderstorm and become BEST FRIENDS <3 despite the challenges of being a goat and a wolf... (not to mention the blatant gaycoding of it lol) they try to find a way to live peacefully despite it all..! it's just a cute little feel good movie! i ADORE the art style of it so much <3 you can find it on youtube easily with subs!  gabu is literally the cutest wolf ever. that's my baby BOY VOUCHHHHH this movie is so cute, emotional, and absolutely queer-coded |

lake mungo (2008) as someone who doesn't like paranormal horror movies i was not excited going into it... but its literally one of my favorite movies of all time now hands down. it just has so many curveballs and then that ending!!! i legitimately slept with the lights on after i watched that one lmao
i'm with you with not having seen a lot of movies, i'm trying to get caught up on all the 'must-see's out there. but definitely give lake mungo a shot if youre looking for a good horror movie, whatever you think it's doing at first, it's not!
