It's gonna be my first time attending—and my first convention in another country generally—so I've NFC (No Frickin' Clue) what to expect from it.
Tips, tricks and convention lifehacks from prior attendees greatly appreciated!

NFC regular here!! o/ (altho due to the costs rising it'll be my last for the time being...)
Haven't skipped any of them ever since I started going in 2017, and it's been one of my favourite cons! Malmö is a nice city with a lot of things to see outside of the con as well, although I'd suggest not walking alone there at later hours (like almost any bigger city in Europe honestly). Also plenty of food options! 99% of the locals also speak English.
The con itself still feels rather cosy despite it growing exponentially every year, and all of the hotels are pretty close to both of the venues. Some things are changing this year and they're trying to make the second venue more appealing to attendees by having more stuff happening there. I'm mostly there just to vibe and don't go to the panels really, but there's all kinda stuff to do :3

Just as Pytthis said, the con is pretty cozy even if it's big for European cons. I'm going to meet friends, suit, and just vibe. The restaurants surrounding the venue are amazing and do not cost much fortunately.

Will be going for the second year ever! once again at the dealers den : D very excited I liked it more than EF con/vibes wise, felt like it was easier to hang out with people / run into people, and the con space was cozier than the EF area, if you've been there. Way less spacious, but I liked that  |
