General thread to gather fans of Nintendo Homebrew!!! I hacked my 3DS this year and I can't believe how much I was missing out on!!!

what are your favorite titles from the 3DS? i love rune factory 4 and fantasy life, so hyped for their new installments next year X3 OH AND THE DILLON SERIES!!! love being a funny little armadillo

i love my modded 3DS!! zelda is my favorite series, so of course ocarina of time 3D is a go-to, as well as link between worlds. starfox 64 3D, metroid samus returns, kirby triple deluxe, and kid icarus uprising were some other favorites. my underrated gem is pilotwings resort! loved that game so much.
specifically after modding the console i've had a lot of fun playing around with the emulators that it can handle. the fact that you can emulate virtual boy somewhat reliably, IN ACTUAL 3D, is absolutely CRAZY to me.

OHHH ive just gotten into ocarina of time its been such a joy to play so far!! i didnt grow up with zelda games so its been fun exploring them for the first time!
i havent messed much with its emulating capabilities after trying to get a DOSbox emulator working on it, specifically WOLF X') that was a headache and a half ... but playing pokemon mystery dungeon randomzied has been wiiiild, and so much more enjoyable to play on the 3DS!!

MODDED 3DS RULES! it's actually so funny how it literally Is That Easy. i also modded my switch and wii, ... and actually i think the 3ds is easier than the wii (even though the wii has like, completely uniquely generated guides to follow LOL) ugh. 3ds modding <3 though i 100% only use it to play pkmn romhacks in bed LOL the craziest thing to me from 3ds modding is the uhhhHh sunshine/moonlight ... this thing! well, it lets you stream from your pc to your 3ds, basically. with zero lag in my experience! i don't actually have any reason to do that, but it's a fun novelty! this is my 3ds :3 everything on the right side is just pokemon romhacks LOL i dont know about favorite 3ds game ... but i played super pmd this year and just about bawled at the ending so that's gotta be up there! also theathrythm is SO fun!
