That sounds like a neat gig. Please start a thread about the horticulture side! Not really the situation you're imagining; I'm not a professional photographer, not in the sense that I'm getting paid directly (or at all, most of the time...) for the photos and vids I take. I make money in horticulture and through crowdfunding to a lesser extent, and use that to fund documentary trips to promote awareness and conservation. Self-employment is not glamorous, but better than the social ratrace that I can no longer stand.

There is already a thread on plants/gardening and I posted there, but if there should be one that's more about the weird/lesser known stuff I work with I can do that. That sounds like a neat gig.
